What We Do

Our offerings center around ways to enhance the connection between horse and human.

Consultations

With over 40 years working with horses, Kat works with owners and trainers to help sort through complicated situations. Whether it’s performance issues, behavior changes, or training roadblocks, she looks at the whole picture, considering the horse’s history, physical issues/past injuries, tack, rider influence, and day-to-day management program. When someone is unsure what to do, Kat can often identify avenues to explore or suggest next steps in the process. This often includes collaboration with veterinarians, saddle fitters and other equine professionals, as it truly takes a team to artfully manage the ever-changing equine athlete. Clinics

As a dressage clinician, Kat utilizes a rider-centered method to identify and prioritize what is needed to achieve better balance, harmony, and connection with your horse. While we won’t ignore the horse, the primary focus will be on what the rider is doing—both clearly and invisibly—and how that translates to the horse. Feedback is an essential part of this process, as we monitor what you are feeling both in your body and in your horse. We expect to see and feel immediate changes!
